Obesity, diabetes and an aging population combined with greater consumer awareness of the positive effects of health and wellbeing are the driving forces behind today’s thriving and rapidly growing fitness industry.
The scope and rewards for people entering this industry are unlimited. You can become a fitness instructor, personal fitness trainer, group instructor, gym instructor, aqua instructor or aerobics instructor. There are also roles in sales and management, if this is what you are looking for.
You also have the option of becoming gainfully employed with a fitness organisation or establishing your own business. Flexible hours are also a wonderful advantage of working in this industry.
So where to start?
